Banana Nutella Swirl Muffins
Banana Nutella Swirl Muffins are a delightful fusion of ripe bananas and the rich, chocolate-hazelnut spread known as Nutella. The base of these muffins is often a moist banana bread-like batter, which provides a comforting, sweet flavor that pairs beautifully with the decadent swirls of Nutella. As the muffins bake, the Nutella not only adds a creamy texture but also creates an attractive marbled effect that makes each muffin visually unique.

I wanted to make sure there was an even distribution of Nutella throughout the muffin, so I did this in 2 stages. Firstly, fill the muffin cases halfway and add 1 teaspoon of Nutella and use a cocktail stick or skewer to swirl it around – it doesn’t have to be neat!
Then top it up with more of the batter to fill the case 3/4 way up and add another teaspoon of Nutella and do more swirling, but this time do it nicely, as you will be able to see the swirl effect once baked.
Bake for approximately 15-20 mins depending on your oven and ENJOY this banana, chocolate, hazelnutty goodness!
